Testing a DVS setup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glxY-11M41c Had a quality issue with the file but I was able to recover; mix is mono [I mean beyond the poor quality anyway, sorry my internet is slow ( .3 mbps up) and technology old]. Just off the cuff selections and mixing so some new and some old. This week was my ten-year work anniversary which means my Long Service Leave has unlocked (Just over 8.5 weeks worth badass) and I'm thinking about using a chunk of it to go to Let It Roll in August. The line-up looks absolutely incredible, although it's missing Current Value, Heist and Serum: Has anyone here been to Let It Roll or any other big D&B fest like Rampage and Pirate Station? Got any tips for surviving three days of mayhem?

I just use youtube, search for whatever you want and you can usually find a decent mix. The videos are only an hour or two long though, so you need to switch things yourself. I did a rare thing today and actually listened to some new music while I worked out. Usually I listen to podcasts, because music fucks with my rhythm. But holy poo poo, Sub Focus' new record Evolve is front-to-back only the kind of fire that guy can produce. Perfect juxtaposition of beautiful melodies with gurn-inducing drops that literally had me crying out mid-set. But this new Break album, holy gently caress. I had some choice words about it:

I'm looking for an old video and feel like I may have seen it on SA so maybe you guys would know it. It was at a huge daytime street party in England, maybe mid 90s, and it was the debut of this track that went on to be a classic, but I can't for the life of me remember which one. The giant crowd was going wild. I think it was one MC and a DJ. If you know that one by some wild chance or anything like it I'm all ears. I love old live videos like that.

I don't know a lot of those names (or maybe I've heard some of them and forgot about them), but here are the ones I'm familiar with: 9/9 - Anile, Nu:Tone 9/10 - DRS, Calibre, Technimatic 9/11 - Keeno, Unglued, dBridge 9/12 - Inja, Grooverider, Klute B2B Dom & Roland, Fabio & Grooverider 9/13 - London Elektricity, Etherwood, Inja, Degs, Pola & Bryson, Makoto 9/14 - Degs, Lens, Inja 9/15 - Keeno 9/16 - BCee Several of those are Hospital signees past & present, so some of the newfangled poppy poo poo and liquid stuff, but then you've got an artist like Dom & Roland that's on the opposite end of the DNB spectrum. Speaking of which, Dom & Roland has been around forever and I didn't know he was still around, but apparently he put out an album this year? I gotta give that a listen. e: This is dope and dark as poo poo, but why isn't it on Spotify? All his other stuff is on there, so why do I have to listen to this one on Bandcamp
