Just left netsky in Cambridge ma. That was fun as hell. He played a couple of older tunes as well as some koan sound which was cool.

One of the best songs this year and I haven't even had the pleasure of hearing the full version. Heard it on the hospital podcast and just.. holy poo poo. New S.P.Y album dropped. Banging this poo poo at max volume shaking my house, will report back. SO far: gently caress YEAH!!!! 1. You: great sound, pretty deep intro and a huge drop into a smooth, banging sub bass. Pretty great tune. 2. Analogue Dreams: Not really my favorite style of dnb but it's good. The bass sounds are dope as hell. 3. Back Again: Dark as hell. Can see this being absolutely huge in a club set. I can see the darker dnb heads really liking this one. 4. Love Hurts: Piano tune! Funky with a great smooth bass as to be expected. More of a chillout type tune, inbetween the rest of the album. Absolutely love the piano though, great vibes. 5. Infiltrate - SO DIRTY. Holy poo poo. Mind blown. zeldadude fucked around with this message at 23:41 on Sep 30, 2012 |

That melody has been stuck in my head for like 5 days straight. http://youtu.be/kxvCGtnM--g The original dubstep non-remix is also really, really loving good. I'd recommend giving that a listen as well. The synths after the the second drop give me chills.

Anyone excited for Danny Byrd's new album? I have very mixed feelings about it. It's obviously all quite commercial sounding but there's one or two tunes that are decent for dancing! I like this one in particular even if the style has been overdone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oMCHN7CLhA Danny Byrd - Throw Ya Hands I will forever love his chopped vocals. Few producers beside Brookes Brothers can compete with them, and that's what makes their collaborations so great imo ^ Perfect example, another song from golden ticket feat Brookes Brothers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0EUS2YaeGY zeldadude fucked around with this message at 23:34 on Jun 18, 2013 |

Mister Speaker posted:I'm writing D&B again. How's the mix? I would bump the drums up a bit, especially the highs. Beat sounds pretty good, not sure if you have ghost snares in there but it sounds like you don't which can work sometimes but I feel that this song would benefit from a bit more bounce. Pretty good though, catchy lead!

Give Fred V & Grafix a try. Their new album is more commercial than their older singles but I still liked it. Give One of These Days a try, it has vocals but from what you've said it sounds like you would enjoy it. Fred V & Grafix - One Of These Days: http://youtu.be/0ulEULEMpUw Or just listen to this mix with a lot of their older songs because its loving incredible. Still my favorite liquid mix to date. The way they mix the songs together is awesome, it sounds like they were meant to be played in a mix. http://youtu.be/7M9jdn99CAY

Instead of getting the nice long netsky set I expected, given the fact that he was the main attraction, he went on LONG after he was supposed to, played for like 45 minutes and that was that. Don't think he even stuck around to talk to his american fans. Really wish he had played some of his older songs but oh well, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up.

I mean come on, here's 41 minutes of absolutely killer tracks from the duo that are like, a billion times better than any song they've put out since Recognise (and even that was ehh.) The whole mix is amazing. I mainly just miss the 2010 liquid era
