Has anyone come across a small shoulder bag that holds just one body, one lens, and a netbook? Right now I'm using a cloth notebook bag with my D90, 35 f/2, and tamron with my iPad. They are all swaddled in shamwows and its ok, but of course I would like a better fit. I'm starting to consider man purses...

This Guragear bag looks interesting. http://www.guragear.com/product.php It's pretty expensive, but I'd like to see it in person. It arranges the gear in a really efficient way and sounds pretty light and easy to carry, but at $400... I dunno.

I don't look as cool as batman with an L lens around my neck, but I got the strap for free. I just got my free smug mug pro strap today. http://cmac.smugmug.com/gallery/3591963_uBzso/#962595860_kXpRb

Would I look like a complete tool if I bought the double sling black rapid system?

I can't recommend my Kata Dr-467 http://www.amazon.com/Kata-DR-467i-Digital-Rucksack-Black/dp/B003036CTC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296055647&sr=8-1 enough. It's very comfortable, durable, and cheap. It's under a $100. I've seen another photog hold his 40d with 70-200 in the top compartment.

I've always thought a clear strap would be cool.

I met someone with this over the weekend. http://www.amazon.com/RainbowImaging-Innovative-Olympus-Panasonic-Fujifilm/dp/B003VGJ2LI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1297205312&sr=8-2 It's the same idea as the black rapid but for $15. It looked pretty sturdy and was comfortable. The connector is bulky but allows for a tripod mount still.

How heavy does that Ona Union Street bag feel without anything in it?

frogbs posted:So I'm considering picking up a Kata 467i. i've been looking for a laptop/photo backpack and that hits all the bullet points for me I've got the kata 467 and love it. I don't hold a tripod on it though. The only thing is that you really have to take the backpack off to access the camera compartment. Which isn't a problem for me because when I'm out, I always have my camera out the whole time and never put it away.
