I got my new Battlestar Galactica packaging yesterday. If any of you guys are stuck with the old crappy limited edition boxes I strongly recommend sending in for the new stuff. It fits on the shelf a lot nicer now.

Over Friday and Saturday Amazon made me buy Batman Begins Dark Knight Wizard of Oz Fantasia Un Prophete That is a serious haul for a guy who usually gets one every couple of months.

I want to watch Fantasia so bad but I have to wait for my old friend from preschool to be available. We watched the movie almost every day for something like 2 years so there's no way I watch it without him.

Since the PS3 got Netflix on the system itself, the HD's been working like a dream for me. There aren't any more dips in quality. I only have a 32" 720p TV but it looks fantastic.

I may be wrong about this, but I think Once Upon a Time in America suffered a dip in quality because they put it on one disc. If they can make it look and sound better, I wouldn't really mind the LOTR extended editions being split up.

I say this with little knowledge of the technology itself, but when I had an OPPO (rest in peace, friend), there was a significant improvement in DVD upconversion in relation to a PS3 like I have now. I'm not sure what made it look nicer but there was something going on in that machine.
