For wearable action video, I'd go with a GoPro http://www.goprocamera.com/ I've seen some neat stuff done with their cameras.

http://www.dpreview.com/news/1101/11011010olympusxz1samples.asp Wow, so DPreview has a XZ-1 sample gallery up and some of the landscape stuff looks great. I'm particularly impressed with one shot that shows the hazy mountain range in the background with great tones throughout. There's a low light shot in a hibachi bar that I would be happy with. And they even have one day time portrait with a bit of a blurred background. For $500, I'd still like to hold it in my hand and feel what the shot to shot lag is like, as well as autofocus.
