 Got my S95 on Sunday from Best Buy for $360 because of a 10% coupon I had. We have a kid coming next month so it was time to upgrade. The thing is amazing. I know I will never get pictures as high as quality as seen here but I will take any pointers you guys can give.

How's the shooting speed on the S95? Can it handle kids and pets in normal lighting conditions? Shutter specs seem a little slow to me.

I haven't had a problem with my puppy and she won't stay still for more than 1/1000000 of a second.
