The most recent pirates line was horribly overpriced. I couldn't justify plunking down $100 for a 600 piece pirate ship. That probably kept it from catching on.

Is there an actual Black Pearl set forthcoming? I didn't see mention of a ship on those leaked set lists, just a "Captain's Cabin" or some such.

The Imperial Flagship was worth every penny.

So, Lego Thread, what's the best way to get more train stuff? My collection has a ton of bricks, but trains need things like wheels, couplers, and tracks. Are there sets that have an excess of those pieces, or is eBay the best bet?

I could build cars out of my collection, and I'd like to expand the Emerald Night train set (after motorizing it.)

The Imperial Flagship is a great kit, but it's definitely more of a display-piece than playable. There are some parts (like the curved section of the fo'cs'le) that fall apart if you look at them wrong.

I kind of like the Queen Anne's Revenge, it'd be a nice ship opposite the Flagship. Obviously I'd rather have the Black Pearl, so I'll be holding out for that, but the QAR looks nice.

Any thoughts?
