Am I the only one who doesn't like Wit?

I find that Sanderson's comedy is usually some of his worst output, particularly when it comes to the characters who are supposed to be funny, so Wit is usually where my eyes glaze over in these books. He does have some good appearances though, particularly secret novels 1 & 3, where he's a useless idiot and a piece of furniture respectively. Also more seriously I liked his appearance in The Sunlit Man and I liked his cameo in Warbreaker.

Unrelated to previous convo but full cosmere I was reading some of the WOBs on that page linked above

This one made me wonder if Adonalsium only affected this cluster, then further down the page

Really makes me wonder.

Aw man, my claim to Cosmere fame was that I was the person who asked about the shape of the Cosmere for us to get the dwarf galaxy answer. And now he's saying it's being retconned? Cruel.

Wouldn’t even be the first series Sanderson has written with that level of “obvious theory is ultimately wrong” (spoilers for all of Wheel of Time): Taimandred. There’s precedent, is what I’m saying, and every time I think I can guess the Sanderson twist he pulls something equally outrageous but just as textually consistent.

That Wheel of Time series one is one where the theory was right but the author changed his mind and Sanderson respected that change.
