Not a podcast, but Mash Up is on Comedy Central right now hosted by the best DLM guest, TJ Miller.

Other than PFT, Scott Aukerman may be the funniest NNF guest. He's always so delighted with his own terrible jokes.

JMBosch posted:Andy Daly's great, and Nine Sweaters is an incredible comedy album. He's said, I think on either Jordan Jesse Go or The Sound of Young America, that his favorite kind of comedy is putting forward a friendly, white-picket-fence/idyllic 1950s sensibility, then gradually peeling it away to reveal increasingly more dark, depraved, and hosed up stuff underneath. It comes through in so much of his work, and I think the manifestations of it along the lines of race and depression are definitely shaped by Aukerman's sensibility on CDR. (He almost always tries to find the awkward, uncomfortable, or what no one wants to talk about, and focus the interview closely on that.) There's an ASSSSCAT podcast?!?!

brainsforbrains posted:That was hands-down the goddamned worst episode of CDR ever. The peudo-trolling deadpan Tim stuff in the beginning fell completely flat and I was dying for some character to come in for counterbalance. Who do they get as the second-half guest? loving Neil Hamburger. I'm sure Scott Aukerman will fire Scott Aukerman for booking bad guests.
