I started going back through CDR from the beginning, and it's cool hearing how much the show has changed. Tom Lennon actually does a Little Gary-ish voice in the very first episode.

Every time I try to download one it tries to save the actual website itself, if that makes any sense. That happened to me when I tried to DL on my smartphone, but the links worked fine when I used a pc.

indigi posted:It's actually not a dumb complaint. If someone wastes their time listening to something lovely it's not unfathomable that they'd want to voice their opinion on it and every podcast plugs twitter/facebook/email/website addresses for their fans to use to get in touch with them. You put your show out there and ask for feedback, not all of it is going to be bubbling positivity. It's not like it's 1980 and to complain about something you have to do a lot of detective work to find out how to contact them and write a letter to a guy's manager/agent, I could write a complaint in 2-3 minutes on the phone I just used to listen to your podcast. Complaining about a guy plugging his own dates is pretty dumb though.

Unless I miss my guess, he's being very sarcastic because he likes to get riled up about people saying mean things about podcasts he likes. It's hard to tell with him sometimes. Im honestly shocked that he likes JJH. It has a celebrity on it.

To the goons who do the primo feed, is there a particularly "classic" past season I should get, or should I just go for the newest one and stay current? For the most bang for your buck, go with 1 or 2, but really any have great episodes. 6 is a favorite of mine.

I listened to most of it on a road trip I went on last year so I associate it with good times. E: It was also my first season so I guess I get sentimental about podcasts. Former earwolf engineer Doug went on a mini twitter rant about "the owner of Earwolf", who I assume means Jeff Ulrich, and was backed up by former engineer Dustin. Wasn't Ulrich behind Cyber Thug Radio ending too?
