FWIW at least on the tech side, 20-30% is closer than than 2x for calculating benefits. so 20 employees at 70k salary and 15k benefits/etc. for 85k fully burdened is 1.7m. Based on their sub numbers, adding in nominal hosting spend and a CMS and billing and etc, i think 2.3m is very feasible for them to be slightly profitable and hiring a couple folks. here's to hoping! it's great to see Laura Wagner join too

i feel like I could at least hoist up a 3 in an NBA game. there would then be a 1-5% chance it would go in depending on How Hard I'm Feeling It that day. i cling to that because I think the worst thing that happens to me is either I get the ball smashed back in my face so hard I get my nose broke, whereas in the NHL/NFL/MLB i would get awful concussion, awful concussion, and potential TBI from getting clocked in the head. so if there's any genies out there, i'll take my odds in making a bucket

as a certified bull poo poo fake tech job haver, Elon IMO is really misunderstanding where the actual trouble will come from w/r/t brand impersonation. sure, users will find it tiring, but a lot of us think it's very funny. but the marketing people at all these companies having to do extra work--and specifically needing to respond very quickly at any hour to fake accounts? brother you're messing up the gravy train.
