I am at my whits end here. I have my iTunes playing and its on shuffle, yet I have heard the same songs two and three times in the last three hours. I have 1592 songs in my library. I know there used to be a setting where you could adjust the frequency of playing the same songs/artists but I can't find it anymore. Is that feature gone?

There's a bunch of calculators online but I don't know exact dimensions. Has anyone shipped a piano before? I think that entirely depends what brand of Piano it is, or if it has some sort of sentimental value to you. You can pick up an upright Piano for free all day on craigslist from Churches and Schools, I do know however that the cost of moving a Piano even across the street is a couple hundred dollars. I imagine that moving one across the country would be ten fold more than it is worth unless this particular piano is a Steinway that Hey Jude was written on.

Once this comes off of my credit report as a monthly payment is it more plausible for my credit score to go up, or down? I know that (I think that) having fixed monthly payments helps your credit, but paying it off completely should help too, right? RIGHT? So a classic rock station probably makes a fair amount of money that way. Maybe even more than a pop station. I have a radio related question too. How can a radio station afford to give away so much money. I rarely listen to the radio but every once in a while I will and I will hear promotions where they are giving away like $20k a week for the whole month, or a million dollars at the end of the year. That seems totally insane to me. I think every radio station in this area does the "Hot 101.whatever pays your bills" or whatever. How could they possibly have the money for that?

On Friday I paid for a purchase on PayPal totaling $550, and apparently it has violated their terms so they refunded $154 back into my account (because that was my PayPal balance) and the remaining $395 (which I paid for on my credit card) is "being credited back." The only thing I can find on the PayPal site is that it could take up to 30 days. Does anyone have any idea how long it will actually take?

john mayer posted:They always say up to 30 days for things like that. I think it has to do when it shows up on your statement at the end of your billing cycle. I've gotten a PayPal refund of a few bucks back to my credit card before and it took 2 or 3 days. When I run a refund myself, it's usually back on the card by midnight, so I guess they have some processing days in there. Yeah, I figured that. I called PayPal and they were of course no help at all. I guess I will need to call my credit card company tomorrow and see if they can offer any insight. Hopefully its quick. Just for future reference, don't try to pay for gun PARTS with PayPal.

Wagonburner posted:If you have $1000 damage to a $2000 car and they give you $1000 they've put you financially back to where you were again by you having the money. They (insurance companies and this guy hopefully) don't and shouldn't have any concern about what you spend it on. This. The only reason where I could see it making a difference is if there is a lien on the car, because since the bank has a stake in the car they would want it to be in a condition where you could sell it, or they could sell it if repo took place. The only reason I know is because when my motorcycle got knocked over I got a sizeable chunk of money with very little damage done, my bank caught wind and contacted me to let me know that money needs to be used to bring the motorcycle back to original condition. That may just be because it was a small credit union.

(house) The landlord knows about the issue but won't do anything, though he's on our side. If it matters, my boyfriend and I have lived here a lot longer than the neighbour. This makes me feel like a total old man, but right when my baby was born we got some neighbors that were ~18 years old and they were outside partying non stop, smoking cigarettes and carrying on until three or four in the morning everyday (I guess they couldn't smoke in the house.) We live in townhouses and their house was directly across from mine. I just made it a point to call the non emergency police number and call in a noise complaint each time they were out there. They were gone in a month. I guess that might not work if your landlord is a pussy because I think what ended up happening was the landlord of their house caught wind of the excessive partying and constant complaints and kicked them out. Although, I am sure that at a certain point the cops will get tired of going over there and take the next step, whatever that may be.

Lately I have noticed that when I walk in and out of stores in the mall that have censors the alarm always goes off if I have my gun on me, but not when I don't. Why would a gun set the alarm off, those things aren't metal detectors are they?

Not to mention that you don't exactly pull out a gun when a security guard approaches you and say "I HAVE A GUN!" But then again if it beeps when I walk through I usually stop and look to see if they want me. Just think of it this way, you go to walk out of a store and the thing beeps, they throw some big fit and the customer sues the store because they made a scene in front of a ton of people. Not my thing, but people in America are sue happy and it costs the company less to just possibly let a guy walk with a $10 belt.
