Not her fault, she probably spent a lot of time chasing cats while she was a stray, but in my particular situation they can't ever be left alone together. It took a good 2 years for her to not stand at the foot of the stairs and whine at the baby gate every time she was out of her crate because she knew they were up there, that is how strong her instinct is to chase down little furry creatures. But that probably has more to do with her being a sighthound than a "primitive" breed, so ymmv.
