God only knows how they stretched that out.

David looked to be absent from the trailer, but I assume he will be back as he was the only major character other than the two dwarves to not be in the hospital during the explosion.

I know about opinions and all that, but I don't get the hate for The Office. I know nowadays that Ricky Gervais is a oval office, he is arrogant, and he hogs screentime; but if you overlook his personality I can't see how you could hate The Office so much. It's got character development, humour, and emotion. I can't fault it.

Coppers is surprisingly good for a documentary about rozzers. The cops themselves seem pretty decent, and it's fun watching drunken arseholes getting lairy in Leeds.

Need to watch Frankie Boyle thing, but I am scared it will be poo poo. I went to see Frankie Boyle the other day, and he was describing a sketch about a little girl walking in whilst her mum is loving her dad with a dildo. Sounded like it's going purely for shock value.

For example, the nice Geordie teacher suddenly turned into a violent racist who wanted to stop an interracial marriage, in a transition that was literally overnight. Loretta turned from a nice former stripper who wants to leave her past behind and fall in love, to being a possessive psychopath, all in the course of a week. A nice example of original writing is the man who arrived in Hollyoaks, claimed he was an alien, and got Elliot a job at NASA. But it is impressive how many different styles they use for the opening scenes. It's a shame the show turns into a clusterfuck after 40 seconds.

The effects on Corrie tonight were piss poor, it looked like stopmotion from the 60's. Also, Daybreak had clips which spoiled this week Sunita dies, and I think Steve and Becky's baby dies too, as well as two other people. Come Dine With Me was great tonight, Ken Morley is hilarious, even if he is an obvious sex pest. The final night was a bit weird with the orange muscled chap and Bet Lynch with a whip.

Robert panics and tries to go see his brother, Deborah starts breaking down, and Frank shows emotion too. The very final scene is the entire family enjoying a normal meal together without arguing, and it fades to black. One of the better sitcom endings, even though the show is normally poo poo. Not as bad as According To Jim which they're now showing in Raymond's timeslot.

Just had to close ITVPlayer after 20 minutes of the first episode of Peaches Geldof's thing. It's just terrible. The first vampire was just someone who dressed like a goth, but with a more elitist attitude. The second vampire looked like a man dressed up as Kate Bush, and she was a weirdo. I don't understand why everyone was shocked when she drank 10ml of her own blood though, I never thought that was a big deal. Is the furry one worth watching, or is it just a bunch of furries justifying their awful lifestyles for 45 minutes?

Psychoville's ending was pretty underwhelming, although it was surprising that Kerry turned up and saved the day despite only being present for one scene this series. It wasn't a bad ending, it just wasn't dramatic enough to solicit to the deaths of most of the main cast.

I'm marathoning The League Of Gentlemen now Psychoville is finished, haven't watched it for over 10 years. I think now I'm not 8, I can properly appreciate it. Legz Akimbo are scarily accurate, Geoff Tipps is brilliant, and I don't think I've seen any other show that can create a character as sympathetic as Les McQueen. It's a poo poo business  I hear the Christmas Special, third series and film are a massive departure from the first two series. Do you reckon they're worth a watch, or are they as poor as I hear they are?

Right, I'll definitely give the Christmas special and series 3 a watch. I first watched LOG when I was 8, went to see them live, really enjoyed the first two series. Then I had a nightmare about Tubbs and Edward and I've been too scared to watch the series until now, especially the Christmas special as those masks look creepy. It probably wasn't a great idea letting a child watch something as dark as The League of Gentlemen.
