I have never been so happy to see a documentary about Tea but it was handled so badly. Frumpy "funny" woman wanders around a bunch of Countries drinking tea and talking about how ~British~ it all is.

I love tea, like I really really really love tea but I'd have preferred something that actually addressed the history of British tea trades in more detail and at least explored teas in other Countries and cultures. Next episode just seems to consist of Victoria Wood talking to a bunch of Middle Class white people about how much they love tea. You can get a far more insightful discussion on twitter, I'm sure.




I'm just bitter. She's doing tea wrong. :colbert:
