My house is hardwired with 5e throughout every room, so anything over 1gb is pretty much wasted... and to be honest for my needs (and I suspect 99% of everyone) anywhere remotely close to that is overkill and often can't get near that from the website I'm pulling from anyhow. Speed tests definitely show it though.
Same. When I helped build my house way back in 2003 I went nuts with 5e in every room except the bathroom. I own a little bungalow so replacing the wiring wouldn't be too difficult, just a little too expensive to justify.

congrats on owning a yard in canada
The Crown still gets mining rights to anything under the yard, so they only own a few feet of dirt underneath the yard.
