I've just picked up GarageBand and audiobus. What are the must have apps for a beginner looking to dick around making electronic music? Everything looks so complicated and I don't want to throw money away.

Could anyone recommend a sample sequencer for the iPad? I've got a bunch of drum samples on my Mac I'd like to copy over to the iPad and sequence/loop without lugging a laptop. I've got Beatmaker 2, just wondered if there's anything better out there?
