I worked with this stuff for a multitouch project at university, we coated acrylic glass with it, it's not too difficult to work with and at a millimeter or so its pretty much crystal clear.

Its actually intended for mold-making so the resin should be able to separate.

Fusion 360 can do some parametric customisation. Changing dimensions is perfectly doable but don't expect to automatically generate tessellations or anything like that. Plus you'll need to be at least somewhat familiar with it and set up your design correctly.
