Wore a pair of new Doc Martens' to work and had them propped up on the desk while talking to the embassy in Kabul. Having a "Scream" marathon tonight with a good friend of mine before we see "4" tomorrow. And, after having knee problems all winter, got the all clear to go back to the gym tomorrow morning and loving lift weights again.

I live in Fredericksburg, VA, and a friend of mine moved in with me in Feburary, after getting a brand new job here in Washington, DC. After saving up for a few months, she moved out this morning and into her new apartment a few blocks from where she works. I'm glad I was able to help her out, and I'm glad she found a sweet place that doesn't involve an hour long commute by car or train anymore. But mainly...I have my house, and my privacy back again. Got to the commuter lot this morning, and there's a group of about 50 people handing out free coffee, donuts, and breakfast bars. When I asked them why, they said they were just spreading the love of Jesus by being kind No pressure, no preaching, just offering food and drink to the people in line for the bus or the carpool. Very nice to see people just being nice. And the fact that they were handing out Dunkin' Donuts coffee and donuts is proof that there is a just and loving God.
