I read Red Devils after every United loss, love that place. Who the gently caress calls them the Red Devils?

Wrong thread for this but one thing United have had, apart from the last couple of seasons in midfield, is buckets of strength in depth. Probably part due to not shipping out loads of players. A team that can start three defenders after having three defenders injured, four defenders leave and only one arrive isn't exactly lacking loving numbers.

That's not strength in depth that's just depth.

Joseph Stalin made a massive balls up of a situation when the Nazi German attacked USSR in WW II. He wasn't ready for it as he had a pact with Hitler. After starving people of Leningrad to death, the German army were within kilometres of Moscow. He had a choice. To leave Moscow in order to Save Russia (Buying himself some time)? Or to stay in Moscow and counter-back, risking he'll lost fast. He went within brinks of getting on the train to get to Eastern Russia, like what Mikhail Kutuzov the Tsar did in 1812, but in the last minute, he had a change of heart and made one of the most decisive decisions in history of this world. A decision that changed the world we live in today. A very bald and brave one. He stayed in Moscow and what happened next we all know.

This is the moment we need Brendan to have. A moment of pure instinct. A moment of inspiration that trumps all the self-doubt, caution, and fear. Come on Brendan, you can do it.

I will admit I never heard of Martial prior to this day. And some people may think it's too much to pay between 60-80 million euros for him, but I have to tell you that you're wrong.

Just type his name in youtube and watch few of his compilation videos (scoutnationHD did a good compilation video on him), and you'll know that he is worth every penny. He is very quick, good on the ball, his conversion rate seems pretty great from his videos, pretty good passing, he assists and he is only 19 years old.

I think he could become one of the 2-3 best players in the world in next 4 years and he probably will if he keeps playing like this and improving.

Edit: Not a joke, apologies to those who took it as one. My point was that while Shaw's injury is horrific, he will be fine. With all the modern medicine, technology, and psychological support available he should be able to continue his career from where he left off. Some people weren't so lucky, and it's worth remembering that when things like this happen.

Whilst I agree on Gibbs, I still disagree that Cresswell is good enough for England.

He may have won Hammer of the year but you finished 13th last season so that doesn't really count for much, it's also subjective.

For example, whoscored has your entire midfield, Sakho and both CBs rated higher for last season. They also rated English full backs (left in bold) Rose, Baines, Trippier, Mee, Gibbs, Ward, Clyne, Bertrand and Chambers a 7 or above, whilst Cresswell was a 6.9.

I'm not saying that's the perfect measure but it's easy to see why Cresswell isn't in the squad.

After Klopp comes he charms the city council into letting him run for mayor, Klopp uses his numerous contacts to plan to secede from the UK. Since many Chinese people love Dortmund and still love Klopp he is granted funds from the Chinese government to carry out his wish, without the knowledge of the British goverment. Over the next decade Klopp wins numerous League Titles, FA Cups, Champions Leagues ect, rallying the people to his side. They love Klopp, the adore their leader, their Eternal Leader Klopp, 'all for one and one for all. They sing, as he parades down Castle street, waving as we is washed in storms of red and white confetti. Klopps last plan before he secedes from the British Empire is a Krystal-Nacht style beat down of all Everton fans who have opposed Klopp(It is dubbed Toffie-Knacht) all who cannot be turned are drove out of their homes and their businesses destroyed, being forced into ghettos or simply executed. This is carried out by Lord Commander Kolo. The next night Klopp secedes from the UK, naming his new Utopia the 'Socialist Peoples Republic of Liverpool', he is supplied with Nukes via a private black market tanker from China. Klopp gets a place on the UN security council. Klopps first act as leader, annex the Wirral and Chester reaching out to Manchester. The Tranmere fans and wools are spared but Mnachester UTD fans are outrightly executed and the Man City fans 'disappear'. Klopp orders LVGs body to be hung from the Liver Buildings as he plants the SPRM(Socialist Peoples Reoublic of Merseyside) into the Liver bird itself. The whole world fears our mighty nation. And rightly they should.
