A brief description of what your show's all about : Dreamt-up by me, JcDent, and co-hosted by Cassa, Fortified Niche s a podcast about smaller (read: not published by GW, Mantic or PP) miniature wargames! Maybe we should have said "indie wargames" to make it clearer, but eeeh. Half the reason I made the podcast is because I got jealous of the friendships and camaraderie I sensed while listening to IDEOTV and System Mastery. Thus far, we have covered games like Grimdark Future (twice!), Turnip28, Xenos Rampant, BPRE28mm, and TECHNOBOWL. Our latest episode is special: it's our first interview! David Phipps has created (together with his daughter) the podcast-favorite Pulp Alley ruleset and he shared some very cool thoughts about the game, rules development, and just gaming experience in general. Part of the reason why I'm sharing this episode specifically is because I think it was a very interesting talk!
