Possibly useful to link to community patches.

There's this one that is compatible with the 1.2 patch

And the old one that apparently is under revision for compatibility with 1.2.

It's a redesigned plasma pistol somebody made for FO3. You can find it here on the FO3 Nexus. I took the liberty of porting it over for personal usage because I think the Plasma pistol and rifle are seriously ugly looking to the point that I prefer not using them.

Make that public? Please?

I don't know about you guys, but I was promised mole rat boobs and, so far, nothing.

Here's another overhaul. I have no idea if it's worth two shits because my trusty comp is down for the count and I can't even run the game at the moment.

It has one interesting particularity at least: you can start your character from a different story point than just Doc Mitchell's house.

It's the New Vegas Battle Suit from the Desert Scorpion mod. Aside from that particular armor looking badass, Desert Scorpion has a lot of other really good-looking armors that fit in very well with the world.

I keep seeing you guys taking awesome screenshots of your characters, and I have no idea how. Is it a mod that lets you rotate the camera whichever way you like or...?

You can probably use the console if you find the base id of the trait.

I probably should have mentioned it in my initial post since the ones in the op currently don't work with the latest patch :P

This one doesn't seem to work either. As soon as FOMM starts the game I get a message about the latter being a newer version than what NVSE supports. How do I go around this if it's at all possible?

It works for me. I assume you have the latest version of NVSE, right?

Well, this is embarrasing. I had the remains of an old NVSE installation and assumed I only needed the 4GB files, but since the NVSE dll's weren't updated...

Problem solved anyway. Thanks for the help. Now on to install as many crazy textures as I want.

If I were to say remove an insignificant mod from my load order, or for instance add a mod such as Rust Town or something else that changes cells, or npc inventories, would I have to start all over again?

Get inside a building, make sure you have no equipment that depends on mods, and save. Turn off/on whatever mods you want and resume your game.

If you require extra safety, wait 3 in-game days. Oh, and make a backup of your save file(s).

Man, I just bought all DLC and now a new patch hits? I'll have to wait a week at minimum until all mods update.

:negative:

It's great the game's still being supported, though. Most developers would have called it a day by now and moved on.

e: lovely typo

vvvvv I'm not worried about NVSE. It's usually updated in less than a day.

No, you really shouldn't. In fact, the patch hasn't been updated in almost three months. A lot of the fixes are redundant (especially after the OWB patch released today) and a lot more would break things that Obsidian has fixed since April.

Probably a good idea to add a warning in the OP just in case.

Yep, that's the one. I was looking for companion mods yesterday to see if there was anything as crazy as that Sonic mod and this was the highest rated I found: a bratz doll-looking character with the voice of a likely obese woman and you can have sex with her. Good job, Nexus.

Disable More Perks and try again. Use the Verify game files option in Steam if that doesn't fix it.

I'm doing the final part of New Vegas Bounties and I am absolutely stuck.

No matter what I cannot kill the final guy. Even with a fully modded assault rifle with AP rounds at level 30 he just sends a bunch of guys in and kills me in a few hits. I'm playing as a sneaky assassin type and just cannot even begin to understand how I am supposed to kill him. Any way for a stealth character to slog through this? Or am I stuck Rambo'ing through?

You're kidding? I just walked in, talked with the guy and said I'd join them, and he told me to shake his hand or whatever. Instead I entered sneak mode and used that Revenge gun to blow up his head.

Then all of his guards died (maybe their collars killed them? who knows), and I was completely astonished how it turned out. I think I'd rather had come in guns ablazing and rambo'd the place.
