Well, there's that trainwreck that's been barreling towards us. Although, thinking it over the author really tends to end each chapter with a line/preview that implies the next chapter is going to be terribly sad, and so far anyway, every time it's been mostly ok for them.

Plotlines involving sexual assault are just not what I'm looking for in a high-school romance storyline, especially to a character whose sole reason for existing is just to have terrible poo poo happen to her. It's the last straw in my patience for what has really been a frustrating read. I have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen there, which is the only reason I'm sticking it out. Since what's-his-name saw her being escorted away, he'll either inform our protagonist what happened or go himself to save the day. Hoping for the latter so she can fall in love with someone who actually cared about her well being.
