Long as we are talking about commercials breaks, he takes one at 7, then 7:30 (though today he missed it) and another at 8. I know this because I listen straight through without interruption from 6-8. The 7:30 is new since the start of 2011. Three commercial breaks in two hours, 10 minutes each or so. Three of them are actually from 7-8 (though the 7 AM one counts for the first hour). So that's around 30 minutes of commercials in an hour, technically.

You know how we are ALWAYS talking about Howard's lovely taste in music? I was at a pep rally at an elementary/middle school the other day, when a song started blaring out over the loudspeaker and the kids went loving apeshit. They were dancing and losing their loving minds because they were so excited to hear this song. So as I am listening to it, I realize it sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't place it. At the exact same moment I realized: "Oh hey! Howard went through a stage where he was playing this song" and then, "WTF...this is "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus." Definitive proof that Howard has the taste of a middle school/elementary school girl. Moniker posted:I find it funny that Howard isn't following anyone from BTLS's camp on Twitter. With the bits and music in and out of the commercials, the commercials vary from 10 - 15 minutes, easy. He's also been crazy about taking the breaks early on. The 7 and 7:30 are so regimented that today he cut himself off sentence at 7 to go to break. I'm not listening as much later on, so I don't know if it is like that all day.

That poo poo with Lisa G is even more unsettling when you realize she is Howard's age. Let me preface this by saying I find Kevin Smith to be insufferable. He has diarrhea of the mouth, and I had to stop following him on Twitter because he was flooding my feed. (Though his early movies will always have a special place in my heart) That said - Howard completely made something up this morning in his discussion about why they don't have Kevin on the show - he said they don't have directors on often. That is utter bullshit. Just in the Sirius years they've had a ton: Quentin Tarantino, Eli Roth, Franics Ford Coppola, Ron Howard, M. Night, and James Cameron. (Though that might have been pre-Sirius.)
