 Its a bit blown out, but I sort of think it came out kind of neat. 5 second exposure, I forget where the dials where at for the rest of it. Not a lot of artistic merit, but I just really enjoy the bugged out contrast in this one.

I made the mistake of trying to take photos of my dog using flash which he did not like one bit. Now anytime somebody takes out a DSLR around him he tries to hide. Only way to get decent photos of him is by being quite a long way away: Bobby in the heather

My in-laws got a puppy. Shalkore your cat wants to eat my soul. There is a PS trick with animals for the eyes. Select the eyes, Ctrl+c Ctrl+v. High pass filter till you see the detail coming though and select hard light at 70%. Merge layers and then select the eyes again. Set your burn tool at 50% midtones, make the tool bigger than the selected area and click. Adjust the burn tool % as needed.

My cat Ed is so photogenic it's not even fair. She's the one in the first 2 pictures. Unfortunately, the other cat, whose name is "The Other Cat" isn't. No fancy equipment for me, just getting started using my D3000 and 18-55 lens that came with it. Got this one's attention by saying her favorite word (What)  The white one refuses to look in the general direction of anyone holding a camera, so i was lucky to get this one while she was playing.
