I know you've made a decision, but I thought I would chime in and say I have a loaded Aeron at work and a loaded Mirra at my home office, and for my money the Mirra is easily the superior chair.

There's little to argue with regard to high end chairs being better than no-name big box stuff, but at the top of the scale, it pays to sit in each of them because it is often a personal choice. For example, I have an Aeron at work and a Mirra at home, and I prefer the Mirra by and order of magnitude. That's me.
