It's so silly but like.....would some high bottom shoes help? A 1-inch high mat on your floor? If you were 4'6" or something you'd be out of luck but one inch feels very fixable. I certainly wouldn't blame you for returning the thing, it's too expensive to keep if you don't like how you feel sitting on it, but I do feel like there has to be some sort of workaround.
