Motronic posted:I have 3 of their grinders. One of them is a few years old at this point and they all still work great. Here's the trick: Ding ding ding. That's exactly what I did with the red 4" or 4.5" grinder I got. I remember seeing that advice before I bought it, possibly even from you. That poo poo looked like earwax. I've beaten the hell out of it since then and it hasn't let the smoke out yet.

Usually discs just break at the center and free spin but we'll see what other more interesting ways we can break a grinder Tip - don't use the HF discs. Spend a little money on poo poo that wasn't manufactured on top of a haunted asbestos mine.

The sequential numbers are most likely part/model numbers for the individual tools. No real sense in recording them as they're easily found online.

fralbjabar posted:Hey I'm looking for a new drill as my little 3/8" m12 drill is just not up to the task of running an auger for some home audio wiring I'm trying to do. I've already got some m18 batteries from a circular saw I got a while back so I figure it'd probably be easiest to get one of the milwaukee drills, but I've got no idea how much drill I actually need for what I'm doing and turns out they have a dizzying variety of options. I'm using a 1/2" auger for my hole drilling, but I can't really find anything suggesting how big of an auger a given drill will be able to drive except for the huge right angle ones (and those are definitely complete overkill). If I can get away with something smaller that would also be great, as my attic is a complete pain in the rear end to get around in (low roof, fully trussed) and the smaller of a lump I need to carry through that obstacle course the better. Anyone have strong opinions on particular drills? I've got the M12 1/2" Fuel and it's been the fuckin' jam so far. If you've already got M18 batteries available, then honestly I say go for whatever M18 1/2" that's fits best into your budget. I doubt you can go wrong there.

Tres Burritos posted:I bought one of these as a new desk and I'm super impressed with it. I've got a Husky box/bench in the garage and I like it a lot. 72" I think. All black with the attached pegboard. Soft close drawers, built in power strip, bottle opener, pretty nice.

I think it was a pricing mistake, because they sent a case of 6 for $66, and it's the worlds largest dustpan. Got multiple company vehicles that go on site? Or a big warehouse? One in each vehicle and/or different sections of warehouse?
