Keylock only works through line out or something weird like that iirc, i don't have the manual in front of me to check

Just wanted to confirm, according to the manual you do have to set the switch on the turntable to LINE for keylock to work.

For kicks i tried switching to line and using the tt's keylock last night and it was pretty bad, sound kept glitching out every few seconds. I'm gonna stick with software keylock

I've been outta the scene for a few years and I feel like digging out my turntables but I don't have any needles/cartridges. I vaguely remember hearing that Shure stopped making the 44-7s and am wondering, if they did in fact stop making them, what are the new suggested scratch capable needles
