Buck has always been our go-to joke about a guy we know training to be a wrestler.

"Your gimmick should be you are Buck Zumhofe but not as good."
"I'd rather watch Buck Zumhofe in an Iron Man match."
"Danny? He's like Buck Zumhofe only with less talent."

Only the veterans laugh.

I haven't studied closely enough, really. What made me say that was first and foremost a video that I think was part of a Botchamania, where CZW decided for once to have a fairly traditional no-props face vs. heel match. It was nothing spectacular, but not bad for low-budget/amateur, went a decent length.

And the audience loving HATES IT. They're SCREAMING. They don't want wrestling at all, they want to see people get busted open. It's like an episode of Spartacus.

No chant creeps me out in wrestling more than, "WE WANT BLOOD!" which got chanted recently on Victory Road during a First Blood match but it moreso creeps me out when WWE tries to clean up or seal a wound and the crowd chants it.

Sherri was a good manager and good talker but the WWF and WCW tended to have her look as ugly as possible to get heel heat. Sunny always looked as hot as possible and could still get fat guys in the crowd to boo her. When Vince put her with Faarooq, it wasn't because he thought it was a good fit. It was because he knew Sunny had the ability to get him a lot of heat.

Sunny was also very underrated in the broadcast booth. It's surprising how much talent that girl had that was blown away by drugs and ego.

The Cole/Bryan/Miz angle was loving great. The heel had fair points (Bryan lost his matches and was always trying to be self depricating and hard on himself) while the babyface was in the right (being held down, attempts to make his credentials less, etc.). Along with it, you had Miz as the golden boy of the WWE taking on Daniel Bryan, the golden boy of the real wrestling fan. There was nobody people wanted to see get taken out by Miz more than Daniel Bryan.

I'm shocked we never got to see Daniel Bryan enter the whole Jack Swagger/Michael Cole vs. Lawler/Ross thing since it was Bryan who reminded everyone of Jim Ross and how much he was better than Michael Cole.

I'm warming up to the idea of John Cena as a heel but people need to understand that when Cena turns heel? He ain't losing for a year. He shouldn't, because he'll be built up as the biggest monster heel since Brock Lesnar.

And it'll all be done to build up to Randy Orton vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania.

I think Cena will drop the belt if he stays face, Del Rio or Miz will have a title reign in the middle to prevent people from making GBS threads all over Cena by the time Wrestlemania comes, WWE has to be smart enough to know about the resentment that a good portion of the fanbase has for Super Cena by now.

It's my hope that the WWE decides to turn John Cena against the Attitude Era. Have him wear a black hat and a black shirt, no logos and just start destroying Attitude Era legends. This eventually leads to facing The Rock where he beats him and "kills off" the Attitude Era.

I can't think of a way that Cena can turn heel and it'll keep the older fans from cheering him other than going after the Attitude Era and killing off sacred cows.

Cena beating down Austin would be your ace in the hole.

There's tons of guys for him to beat up who don't work in the WWE right now. Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Sean Waltman, several guys still working for TNA (including D'Lo and Al Snow), Hardcore Holly, Chris Jericho, Val Venis, Rikishi and guys still in the WWE like Triple H and Christian.

The wrestlers are out there. It's really just a twist on Orton's "Legend Killer" gimmick only instead, he's destroying the sacred cows of the Attitude Era. The New Age Outlaws with X-Pac doing a big D-X tribute only for Cena to come out and murder them all and make each one of them tap to an STF would be glorious.

EDIT: You have Cena beat Rock at next Wrestlemania and you let his journey to destroy the Attitude Era include beating Triple H into retirement and eventually facing Undertaker at the next Wrestlemania. Which Taker will win.

What could have been if someone in the WWF decided, "You know what the WWF needs in 2001? A veteran monster who can connect with the crowd and tell a decent story, even if he has little technical wrestling ability."

What if, in 2001, the WWF gave this man another chance.

Truth is, Sting still looks more competent in the ring than 90 per cent of TNA's roster, especially the upper card side. The problem is he should be working with the other competent wrestlers like AJ Styles or Bobby Roode. Instead he gets Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam.

At least it looks like to me they are going with Kurt Angle back in the main event soon. It might be two old fossils but Angle vs. Sting sounds exciting to me. Should it be for the TNA Championship? Not really, but gently caress it.
