online betting was just legalized here in arkansas last month. the first casino in the game didn't manage to get their platform out in time, a second casino did get a betly skin out, and the third company decided to chill and wait for the others to fail. i signed up for betly and it was a hot mess. i had to first go through the casino's third party money handling system called play+. they didn't seem to have any real uniform web presence but i got it figured out. it might have been easier if i just went to the casino but i wanted to try the full online thing. once i got some money in there, i tried to bet on the last fight night with my phone. decided to put some money up on alexa grasso and it threw an error stating that online betting is not allowed in my area. after that i jumped on a windows machine, installed their geolocation software, tried to bet again and got the same error. hopped over to a mac, did the same thing and then got a message that there was a problem with my account. contacted support and they said i had to use an approved device. listed my devices and they said they were approved devices but i have to use an approved device. went to take my money off the platform, so i transferred it to play+ and then realized there's no account that i could access and no real website to set one up, it was just tied to my betly account. harassed the ai chat bot until it told me i could get a debit card mailed to me so i asked it to do that. a week later, the debit card shows up and i set up the account with an obfuscated url, pulled my money out of an atm, and gave them $4 for the privilege. so that's the state of online betting in arkansas. would like to get in on 273 but it looks like i'll just have to make my picks and pat myself on the back when i'm wrong. i think things will improve here, though. EDIT - i forgot my favorite part! when i moved my money from betly back to play+ i got a "congrats on your winnings" email. i'm sure it was just a default mailer of somekind but

i ain't got the kinda scratch you degens do but i finally got to place a legal bet in my state. i live so close to a neighboring state that their geolocation software wouldn't let me throw down previously but i'm in now. shevchenko vs grasso tomorrow: grasso to win, $25 at +550 for a $162.50 payout fight to go the distance, $10 at +125 for a $22.50 payout

The spreads for me are kinda lame. I'm gonna sit this one out. Plus I don't really follow any of the fighters on this card. I did listen to the sheehan show episode that covered it and I agree with his sentiments re: burns. I'd probably bet similarly if I bet anything. EDIT: I suppose that's not in the theme of this thread and our patron saint. I should probably yolo on some arbitrary underdog.
