^^^It's pretty interesting to look at the different ways the two series have evolved from their rather similar roots into completely different beasts. FF sort of represents what I don't like in RPGs, namely overemphasis on looks and style. I've always enjoyed getting lost in the depth of a game, which is why I've sort of moved on to roguelikes like Dungeon Crawl. It's like Final Fantasy does all of the imagining for you.
