Anyone been to Roosevelt Island? I realize it's mostly a residential place, but it looked like it might be interesting to visit it. I'm just not sure if it's worth the trouble if all we can do is walk around a little bit and say "oh look that's old asylum." I'm not planning a trip or anything, I live on LI so it's not like I'll be wasting a day of a vacation. I go into the city fairly often for side work or events or just to hang out.
