I sort of stopped reading after 'The Commodore', is the ending of Blue at the Mizzen better than that? I'd rather prefer to have the series ended there, with Jack victorious, rich and successful, and Stephen patching his family back together. I started 'The Yellow Admiral' and thought, oh god there's only 2 books left and I don't want to have it end abruptly, leaving some of my favourite characters in the poo poo.



Yes, I'm kinda attached to this series.
