It's how they got the dutch/belgian contract. They said they could make a 250kph system for cheaper than siemens and alstom could make a 220kph, having never produced a high speed setup on their own before.

This is all after the DSB debacle got well underway, so there's really no excuse.

What a loving mess it was too. I think it was in spotty service all of 2 months before the trains were pulled for safety reasons, like the doors opening while at full speed.

There still isn't a good connection between Brussels and Amsterdam, and it's been something like a year.

I spy some red taffy to share with a friend,
A tie and a spike and two B.H.O.N.'s

I spy a rolled blunt and a round, shiny Lincoln,
A quarter-worn rail and a shooter for drinkin'.

I spy a comp. joint for 100#RE,
And a hundred dropped needles (thankfully from a tree)

Three little red trucks with a fire to fight,
A Coke and a coffee since it's been a long night.

I spy a small bolt and some ballast (or rocks)
A tall glass of water, a fried chicken box.

A pair of steel anchors knocked loose from the rail.
But where is our Hobo? Hopefully not in jail.

That's Florida
