Sub Pop remastered TAD’s first album “God’s Balls” and if you like sludgy heavy stuff check it out. Huge improvement over Jack Endino’s original production. It’s on Apple Music - not sure where else My favorite album of the 1988-90 stretch when Seattle bands hadn’t attracted big label attention yet A good example of a record cover letting you know what it sounds like

Welp As much as I’d like to start buying vinyl and CDs again I’ve given up and surrendered to paying $10 a month for Apple Music. I have a turntable and receiver and cassette deck and everything plus ~1000 vinyl records and almost as many CDs in my basement and I am just too loving lazy. Like 95% of the stuff I have is on Apple Music so I can just sit on my rear end and listen to anything I have no idea what the best digital way to get music from a band is, in terms of the band getting $

Told my bartender friend who turned me on to Russian Circles to check out “Burden of Restlessness” by King Buffalo and “The Magnetic Ridge” by Jack Harlon and the Dead Crows a few weeks ago Saw him tonight and he said King Buffalo was too much like Tool and I just did a brief
