The first time I laid eyes on the EVO 3D, the camera lense fixture was a huge eyesore. After a month of watching video previews, it's becoming less an issue. Subliminal 3D messages are probably to blame.

I'm with you on this. I am nursing my Touch Pro 2 to last me another few months at least. When I saw the comparison of the Evo3D with the SGII on YouTube, I was blown away by how much faster the SGII was. I have been eligible for my upgrade since 2009, but I have been holding off not wanting to have to touch my current SERO plan. I'm not happy about the thought of owning a 4G phone (paying the 4G fee) and never using anything besides 3G (unless I travel to a major city).

I'm seeing complaints about the wifi and 3g radio not having the best reception, similar to what was seen with the Nexus S. I'm holding out till October or early November. If the consensus shows the Epic Touch 4G to be a lovely phone, I'll try to stretch the wait a few more months and be happy with this hacked Xandroid on my TP2. Maybe we'll get the Nexus Prime before it gets too unbearable.

I'm running XDAndroid on my tp2, it's pretty slick actually. I have it on my microsd and run it when I grow sick of wm6.5 The tether doesn't work for me so I still have to load into wm for that, but it gives me access to some cool android market apps and hopefully tides me over till a new phone worthy of the sero premium upgrade comes along (along with 4G tax, bumping my monthly rate by $20+).

The chatter seems to indicate that there will be a Verizon exclusive, but no idea on how long that would be. We'll have to see what happens next week (11th) with the announcement. I wish Google would put a microsd slot on that bugger this time around.

I had great sprint EVDO-0 and rev A speeds during the HTC Titan days. Then everything hit the fan in early-mid 2010 and I haven't seen decent speeds since.

Should I get AppleCare? Has sprint made any changes recently that should make me reconsider signing a new contract (I have been out of contract for quite some time now)? They are charging the "4G tax" effectively for the iPhone 4S anyways (yes, it's 3G only, but that's the way it is). Your plan would be $50 per month (plus tax, etc), which is pretty rad for an iPhone.

Some people think that just the act of registering an SA account makes them the coolest of cool. As though everything they type will be a comedy goldmine +5. I still have my Touch Pro 2 and I just put this version of XDAndroid on it. It's a much better port and might be as fast as Android running on a Hero. Plus you can reset your phone and be back in WM 6.5 any time you need it, since XDAndroid runs off the MicroSD card. (This applies to the 3 people left in this thread with a TP2.)
