Any reason why I wouldn't be able to use data anymore? I'm on the original $30 sero plan. I haven't used that much data recently, so I doubt it is usage related.

I Just don't want to miss out on the savings and it's really the only thing holding me back at this point. Also, if I can get this, do I also get the 2 year contract renewal credit for $150?

Well my dad decided to get a Evo 3d, and gave me his old EVO 4G. I'm still on the $30 plan. So do I now just need to call 866-264-1282 to activate it?

What's the best phone that I can get that will work on the old $30 plan? I'm currently using an htc vogue with android on it, but my screen is pretty much shot and my battery life is 30 minutes if I use the browser.

You know what kind of plan I want? I want to be able to customize it to say get a lot of data, but very little talk. Like under 100 minutes. I'm on Sero and even that seems expensive for how much I use it.

So right now I have Sero Premium for $50+taxes I want to get a new phone as I'm still on a evo 4g. Any phone I look at on their site though says "If you want this device, you'll need to change your plan." Is there really not any way for me to get a new phone without switching plans?

Is the moto x I'd get not a 2nd gen? hmm also the big complaint I see with both of these is that they aren't that bright and hard to use in sunlight. I'm outdoors a lot in the summer so should I be looking elsewhere? $150 I guess is my max price though under $100 would be awesome. Harminoff fucked around with this message at 04:33 on Feb 3, 2015 |

So just called them and the lady said the prices would be a lot more than listed. g3 was $299 s4 $250. The site is listing the g3 at $49.99 with a 2 year agreement but she said that is just for a new account. Is that right? I was looking at getting a new phone on my sero as I'm currently using an evo 4g, however some of these phones say "If you want this device, you'll need to change your plan." and I can't figure out what I would need to change. I'm paying the I'm on the $50 plan right now so it's not the extra $10 data plan. Also, I'm looking into the $200 phones and have a choice between the s6, g4, nexus 6. What's the better choice?

the littlest prince posted:There are two versions of every plan, one for WiMax (which your evo has) and one for LTE (which current and future phones will have). The cost/features won't change at all, but their systems view it as a separate plan. Yes, it's dumb. It's just weird because I don't get this message with the g4 but do with the s6. Also, the m9 is actually $0 whereas the other two are $200. Is one of the others worth the extra $200? With the g4 I can also get a FREE Leather back cover, extra battery and battery charging cradle. I'm not someone that upgrades phones very often so whatever I choose I'm going to be using for the next few years.

So I got my g4 today. I tried activating it through the phone but that didn't work (said I had to upgrade) so I called the number in the op. The guy that answered wasn't able to activate it as it was an employee (sero) account so I'm thinking that number isn't the sero number anymore. He however did transfer me to a different department which took a few minutes, however he checked in with me very often. She assured me that she will activate it without changing my account pricing. Treated me like royalty because of this plan, was pretty awesome.

I'm a little disappointed because even though I was 99% sure I would have to pay the extra $10 data the salesman said a few times that my bill wouldn't go up at all. That's what I get for not calling the SERO line. I doubt it by I recently upgraded my phone and had to do a 2 question survey on how it went. Didn't think much of it, but got an email earlier this week offering a $15 service credit. (I said the person who upgraded me was really awesome, however the website is garbage)

Mine went through on Tuesday, switched today (first day of new billing) Got a text for tidal to activate that. Checked tethering and it was activated. It does take a few days to process, but you'll get a confirmation once it does. No going back and forth or anything. Some people on Slickdeals are emailing the CEO and having it switched with in an hour, but I'd only do that if your billing cycle is about to start.
