Did GTAIV have a simultaneous PC and PS3/360 release?

I still haven't beat GTAIV because it just bores me. Is the last half of the game better than the first half?

Honestly get TLATD and Gay Tony and play those if you thought vanilla GTAIV was boring. They're both pretty short and tons of fun. Gay Tony is more like the crazier parts of the old GTA games and Lost and the Damned was just cool, I'd love it if they made a whole game about being in a bike gang.

In Saints Row, any car you put in your garage is automatically saved and kept...FOREVER. If it blows up, you can pay a fee to get it back.

GTA needs this. I remember there was some mission in IV where you get this awesome-rear end Ferrari type car as a reward and I could never find where it was parked again after it disappeared when I went into a mission.

The infernus? I think there's only one in GTAIV or they are really rare. They show up more in the episodes.

Yeah. I assumed once I earned it it would always be parked in the same place, but I could never find it again.

There is a luxury car dealer on Algonquin somewhat south of the middle bridge.

The two story one with the big windows? I loved driving cars out of those.

Not to mention Fela Kuti, Philip Glass, Nas at Live at the BBQ...

That Philip Glass song was amazing when you were driving around in a thunderstorm.

EDIT: Also, as much as "Hello cuzin!" is mocked, I think Roman is a really fun character and his interactions with Niko are awesome. I think he really adds a lot of soul to the first act or so of the game. There isn't enough Roman later on.

I enjoyed him and Brucie popping up at the club in Gay Tony every once in a while. "Ladies, hide your titties!"

I felt sorry for Dwayne but dude was such a bitch after you spare him. "Hey Nico, thanks for not shooting me. Want to go bowling? No? Oh, well I was thinking about killing myself anyways :smith:"

I liked how the diamond thing ran through all the expansions. If V has multiple playable characters as rumored, I hope they thread all the stories together like that again.

Am I the only person who just grabs the first car in sight, regardless of model, drives it until it explodes, then takes the next nearest car? I never understood the whole parking garages and car modding stuff -- if I actually put money into the car, I couldn't fly it off a bridge in a beeline for the next objective!

I'm the exact same way. If it isn't a burned-out husk them I'm not done with it yet. Just Cause 2 was pretty great for playing like this, I don't think I ever used the brakes on any vehicle ever in that game.

I'm gonna bet that the whole San Andreas is included. If you remember, the first trailer for GTA:SA only showed Los Santos, and then the other cities were shown in later trailers. Also, these look like casinos:

has to be Las Venturas!

I hate to burst you bubble, but Little Seoul is very likely standing in for Korea town in LA.

You're all going to be so let down when it's just Los Santos and a lot of surrounding countryside. I'm excited though, look at the scope of the city. It's MASSIVE. They captured the sprawl of LA perfectly. It's so vast and diverse that there isn't really a need for other cities, especially at the level of detail they're working with.

Why do people think this will be tied into the old games when IV was a clean slate?

Yusuf is the absolute best. I loved so much that at the end of the game he shows up to save the day because Luis is his friend and Yusuf helps his friends. After being so used to the idea of NPCs in the GTA games just being there for you as the main player to help, it was a wonderful change-up.

On the other hand, Yusef has maybe the worst mission in the main game and both expansions, the one where you have to take out a bunch of speedboats with a chopper. You need like 4 hands to fly that thing and shoot at little fast-moving targets at the same time.
