EDIT WITH MORE CURRENT INFORMATION: Doctor Zomb is now on at 10PM Wednesday night Oregon time. He may also be on during odd-numbered Wednesdays within the month instead of just every other Wednesday; keep an eye on thread updates to be sure. Also, the Wiggle Room has ended.

After almost three years of fortnightly service, the old thread about this has been closed. Later pages contain plenty of recordings of past shows.

Doctor Zomb's Stereo Obscura is a completely bizarre radio show on KBOO, a community radio station in Portland, Oregon. It typically plays amazingly strange, obscure music, such as the well-loved recordings of Dion McGregor, who talked in his sleep.

Doctor Zomb is on every other week, and the next show is on tonight at midnight in Oregon. Listen in here for high quality or here for low quality. (By the way, the schedule on the site is wrong. It thinks it's on every odd-numbered Thurday/Friday midnight, when it's actually on every other week.)

You should have broadened the thread to open up to all obscure radio shows. WFMU has quite a few as well.

It would be good to have updates, suggestions and recordings from the full lot.

Sorry, I don't know about much beyond what I mentioned. If you list some, I'll add 'em to the first post. I can't change the thread title, though - that means messaging a mod, and I don't have plat and can't buy it because I only use Paypal.

KBOO.FM, in the 'On Air' sidebar. Note that it often mixes up Doctor Zomb with the Autonomy Hour for the reason given in the OP. If you're asking about individual songs instead of shows, you'll just have to hope the host mentions it. Some shows have their songlists posted on the site, but many don't.
