I have been living with family for the past several years and wish to once again strike out on my own. The only issue is that at the moment I am unemployed, however due to a recent inheritance I do have a substantial amount of money in which to hopefully offset that minor detail. So my question is this; how likely is it that should I wish to live in a nice place that they'll let me live there if I can pay for the lease in its entirety up front in lieu of not having, for the moment, a monthly income? I'm afraid the fore-mentioned 'nicer' places will just think I'm a drug dealer or something and tell me to piss off. Anyone have any experience with this?
