we're looking for some advice about our situation/security deposit because we're hoping january will be our last month in this apartment. we've been here for almost 3 years and in this time the landlord has only performed 1 maintenance repair out of all our requests (replaced shower cartridge due to howling noise). they've sat on their hands re: squirrels nesting in the ceiling, mice, rotten window frame(s), and the veritable forest that's been growing in the gutters. are those issues considered a violation of our local statutes about reasonable repair and enough to break our lease and seek the return of our security deposit? edit; \/\/\/ ty Happiness Commando\/\/\/ stone soup fucked around with this message at 20:54 on Jan 7, 2022 |
