First, I think you can just install the newest version of iOS and it doesn't keep but a few days of location cache. Second, I don't think it started keeping a cache until iOS 4, so it's more like a year's worth of data (and usually only when your device requested--with your knowledge--to use location services). Just sayin'.

Something of note for anyone using Auxo: if you want to un-pair a bluetooth device you must either start in safe mode or uninstall Auxo.
