One of my least favorite bands of all time, Panic! At The Disco, did a song that I actually really enjoyed. So I got crossfaded and covered it last summer. http://patrickjames.bandcamp.com/track/nine-in-the-afternoon Then, in February, I got really sad and homesick while doing a recording sesh at a friend's apartment in Berkeley. I was on an Elliott Smith kick, so I recorded this cover of some of his work (bear with me, I mixed the vox too low and didn't EQ them properly; I didn't have as good a grasp on the process as I do now). http://soundcloud.com/kimjongsick/waltz-2

Pigstomper posted:Really bizarre jug-band/accordion style Queen cover. Quality isn't very good but I sure had fun making this! Did you autotune the vox? They sound a little bit like it, and that's not really my bag, personally. I'm loving the instrumentation though. Like a boss.

Did this cover at the bar where I run open mic every Wednesday. This is the only recording I made this week where it didn't sound like rear end. Pardon the botched intro. http://soundcloud.com/kimjongsick/somebody-that-i-used-to-know

I got bored and did this over the course of a few days: https://soundcloud.com/kimjongsick/im-like-a-bird-3 My band also decided to cover California Dreamin' at a show a while back, I'm on bass and I do the higher backing vocals. Sorry the sound quality sucks, iPhone video from a loud-rear end show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dA6zZKWa9as
