Now, I recognize why the giants look so familiar. The way they're drawn remind me a lot of Goya's Saturn Devouring His Son. I don't know if it's intentional or not but it's a really interesting style. I'm really enjoying this, thanks for the recommendation Zorak.

So... totally a wild guess but the new titan is Eren's mother? It might explain why she's looking for him. She was mentioned earlier to have 'disappeared' wasn't she? Edit: Oh she died didn't she? No idea why I didn't remember that.
