Is anyone here a Third Man Records Vault Club member? If you are, are you still waiting on the recent package? Because I am and I don't remember it ever taking this long. I'm starting to worry that evil mail goblins snuck into the post office somewhere along the line and ate mine. It figures that this would happen for the package that I consider to be the best yet.

I got mine last week. The final show LP is amazing! Your in for quite the treat when it arrives.

EDIT: It's gone. surfingelectrode is the lucky jerk. congrats!

Hoping you know more since your working at DFA but any news of the LCD Soundsystem Madison Square Garen show coming out on vinyl? Also any info on the Losing My Edge single coming back to the store?

Losing My Edge is awaiting a restock from our distributor. Should be a week or so.

I don't think the MSG Show will come to vinyl, at least not in its full form. James has been mixing and mastering the audio for some sort of release, though. We'll see!

Yeah I remember reading someone posting on the LCD Facebook page asking about a vinyl release and the response was its coming, so hopefully that happens.

Does anyone here have a copy of You're A Woman, I'm a Machine by Death From Above 1979 they would be willing to sell? I have been looking for this for years and don't really wanna pay some ridiculous price. If anyone has a record store near them that they know has it, please please please get it for me and I will give you monies.

I'm not familiar with this band at all, but I think a record store near me has this. Looking at their discography, though, it looks like they released quite a few things with variations of the same cover so I can't guarantee that it was the pink cover and not one of the many 12'' singles with a different colored cover. Next time I'm in there I can check for you.

I would love you forever if they had the album. I don't have PM but you can email me brian.ahlm@gmail.com with whatever you find.

Death From Above 1979's You're a Woman I'm a Machine is being repressed on pink vinyl for record store day. Only 1000 copies in Canada only. The label will be putting some on their website.

Serious question anyone here in Canada that would be willing to pick one up and ship it to me? I will pay for shipping and the record and throw in a five spot too. That is if I don't get one online.

I was in Chicago for Lolla and I randomly decided we'd go get breakfast at this place in Wicker park on Sunday before heading into the shows, and when we got out there we saw the Third Man Rolling Record Store posted up outside Reckless Records, and they were selling the Blunderbuss Thunderbolt LP! I guess they only sell it from the truck and only 20 copies per stop.

It was $53 but it is loving gorgeous, can't wait to listen to it later tonight (I'll grab pics when I play it). My wife got a copy too but before I can hook a goon up I have to give my brother dibs if he wants it, but I don't think he's into vinyl anymore since he got out of his punk phase.

I missed out on this was in town for lolla but couldn't make it for this. If your brother doesn't want it I would be interested.

$120 including shipping. DFA are really the only band that I'm willing to spend that much on records for (and probably will have to shell out for that much again for the pink reissue of the album). It's only a black copy, and not a clear one; only 200 were pressed of the clear version, 800 of the black version. If the opportunity was to present itself for a clear version though, I'd probably fork out for it again.

My friend found a copy used at a record store in Minnesota for $10. He bought it and sold it for $40. Super dumb move I thought.

The Black Angels - Passover [1st pressing]
Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz - Crunk Juice
Ty Segall - Twins

The cover of the Black Angels album is embossed and looks/feels really cool. The reissue (which I have) just uses a standard tip-on jacket.

I had to get that Lil Jon album just for this ridiculous song.

Just a heads up. Someone was asking about when the special lighting bolt Blunderbuss LPs were going out. Mine came today with my Vault package (they were in separate conatiners), but I only got the shipping announcement for the Vault package. So if you're signed up for that and they told you your package is coming you should probably expect your copy of Blunderbuss as well.

I got my Blunderbuss shipping notification but not my vault one. Hopefully they both come together.
