the songs themselves are really good (its 90s flaming lips so duh) and i kinda wish they were released somewhere "real". riding to work in the year 2025 is probably my favorite lips song its a shame wayne loving sucks now

The days of people just dumping their old record collections because they don't think they have value are never coming back unfortunately. I actually got started with records bc i found a box of decent quality beatles and beach boys LPs just on the side of the street with a big "FREE" sign like 12 years ago and i dont think people do that anymore.

the “deluxe” loveless is already sold out  The regular seems to be shipping from the us though which is nice It’s a shame when I see an album on Bandcamp that’s under 20 bucks only to realize it ships from the UK and shipping will be more expensive than the album

I think it’s mostly production delays this time. I’m kinda interested in picking up life’s a riot an vaudeville villain but it’s a wait an see if anything shows up online for me this year

Some stores post pre RSD surveys to see what people are interested in and how many copies they should request, but requesting X amount of a certain LP doesn’t mean they will actually get anywhere close to that many. The best you can do if you actually need the LP in your hands ASAP (you really don’t) is find a store that is doing RSD and show up when it opens, and hope that all their shipments came.
