Haaaay. I'm getting back into scratching and all my records are hosed up because I am a child who doesn't know how to take care of material possessions. I haven't been paying attention in the past ~12 years so here are my questions:

1. Scratch records - I used to use the qbert ones (scratchy seal etc) and I liked them because they had the "skip protection" (meaning it's the same sample for a while at the same needle position so if the needle jumps you land on the same sample again) - are there other people pressing vinyl like that?

2. Needles - where's the best place for me to buy new needles, cartridges?

ok so I'm on discogs and:

quote:

Media Condition: Poor (P)

More than the first half of both sides are unplayable. Has a ripple going through half the record. IN A GENERIC SLEEVE.

Why would someone buy this for $1, not to mention $25 shipped?

Why would someone bother posting this for sale to begin with! At least they're being honest?

I mean if you’re a record store and you just want it gone can’t hurt to spend 5 seconds listing it
