I'll be getting to Vegas about.....10 or so hours before my cousin arrives. Of course, the room is under his name at Caesar's. Now is there any storage lockers or something close to that around there?

I don't want to lugging that thing around all day.

Also, I heard that there's firing ranges around Vegas, I'd like to know the feeling of shooting a gun. Any recommendations?

Just have your cousin add your name to the room so you can check in.

The Gun Store is the most well known. Firing ranges aren't cheap though.

If there was one casino people felt best captured the old school rat-pack era Vegas to go get a cocktail and play a game of blackjack in which one would that be? The one time I visited Vegas before I did get a chance to walk down Fremont Street which was pretty cool but it still felt pretty updated, maybe I just didn't step into the right casino. Are there any casinos that still feel classic like that w/out being depressing and just filled with old people on respirators gambling away their grandkids college money?

If you head downtown, check out The Plaza. They remodeled it. And now the art district is booming which is pretty cool.

Speaking of good Mexican. Mundo, which is located in the World Market Center is amazing. Best shrimp tamale ever and a bunch of other great dishes and a fantastic mojito. Nice spot to go at night and have dinner outside.

I'm headed to Vegas next week Tuesday through Thursday. We're staying at Trump International (gently caress you Hotwire, that is definitely NOT on the strip!) since we got a good price. I think they have a courtesy shuttle to The Wynn and Caesar's Palace, would a monorail pass be worthwhile? I have no problem taking cabs.

My friends are staying at the Cosmopolitan. I'd like to gamble at the Bellagio. Are these things walkable from Caesar's Palace?

Dinners I have planned are: Lotus of Siam, Kabuto, and Roku. I am first and foremost a food tourist, I would be happy just getting amazing meals and nothing else. Any reason to change my plans?

My wife wants to go to a strip club "...where the strippers are actually hot." Best reasonable place to go?

Thank you!

EDIT: Also, a good karaoke spot would be awesome! Ideally somewhere where they can do "Somebody" by Depeche Mode, since it will be my wedding anniversary and this was our song!

Trump is pretty close to the Wynn, it's walkable. Monorail sucks. Take a taxi.

Your dinner plans are solid.

Which as a dj who has dedicated my last 10 years to EDM and haven't heard of this happening besides this garbage "VIP is complaining about the DJ" is still bullshit. Mansion in miami pulled this same trash recently too. Its trying to homogenize dance music and make an artist compromise his art over money. If you somehow managed to get banksy to do a graffiti live show, and the people attending said "made him paint landscapes or I am leaving" people who were fans of the artist would have a right to be pissed too.

Edit: You may know Vegas very well, but trust me when I say that you don't know poo poo about dance music if the above is truly your opinion.

The problem with your analogy is that you're assuming people are going there to see that DJ. If you're paying a DJ $30k and you have a guy who has spend $2mill+ in the club that year. It's a pretty simple business decision on who to cater to.

People who are fans of the artist have a right to be pissed, club owners have a right to operate their venue however they want. If the overwhelming majority of the people are unhappy with the music being played, it's time for a change of pace.

I couldn't give to shits about EDM so my unbiased opinion is coming from a logical business standpoint. You might piss of the hardcore fan who paid $50 for his admission or spent $200pp on his table, but the guy dropping $10k+ most likely doesn't care who is spinning unless it's Kaskade, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, or Deadmau5.

As an adult, I rarely share a hotel room with anyone. Unless absolutely necessary, that's just me. I'd look at Tropicana and Planet Hollywood as well. Also, Rumor, Artisan, and like Sam's Town or somethin? Maybe downtown? I guess downtown would be good for a budget trip.

I don't get the allure of coming to Vegas with little to no money to spend for a bachelor party. Drinks are more expensive, strippers aren't cheap, rooms during Spring Break until the end of Summer aren't cheap. And partying even remotely properly should cost you a couple hundred dollars a person per night.

Unless the hotel has some sort of infestation or outbreak even staying in a kind of crappy hotel shouldn't ruin your vegas trip. The only time I am ever in my room there is to sleep/shower/change. If you wanna go someplace with a nice hotel to relax in, you could do a lot better for the money than Vegas.

I dunno about you, but if I bang a girl, I want it to not be in a shithole hotel room on a twin bed. I also enjoy rooms where I can't hear my neighbor banging his wife/girlfriend/one night stand/whore if possible.

Not to mention the hotel itself. I dunno about you, but I like a hotel that has a decent selection of restaurants, perhaps a bar that isn't infested with toothless patrons (this is not age specific, plenty of meth heads at Bill's and Imperial Palace). Somewhere I might actually enjoy spending part of my day. Or a hotel accompanied by a decent poker room.

Well, everything beyond the first sentence of my statement stands. Because, you know, our parents don't have sex.
