I'm planning my third trip to Vegas in August / Early September. This will be my first solo trip, and I'm only looking to stay Friday through Monday. This might sound dumb, but should I even book a hotel in advance? I barley stayed in the room the first two trips when I was younger. I figure, if I want some 15 hour sleep session and a shower I'll just rent a room in a poo poo hotel off the strip and save in the long run. I could probably just couch surf.
